Hair!

But not the musical.

Yes, I got it hacked off this afternoon, and now I look quite like Alice Glass.

But not necessarily in a bad way.

Getting it coloured later too. ^.^

Seriously. No joke.

I will personally check myself in if I witness any more of this absurd Twilight madness. Sure you can like it and that's fine by me, but can you possibly like it without shoving forcefully and painfully it down everyone else's throat?

Thank you, that is all.

Edit: For those of you that don't understand my madness, this journal sums it up quite nicely: [link]

For those of you who don't speak Russian (which would be most of you), that means hello!

Just posting to say that I may not be around for the next few days; I've got a gig in Philadelphia so we're driving up there tomorrow and coming back probably on Monday, and I'm not sure when I'll get a chance to go online. Pictures will be posted when I get back!

After that, I'm going up to Maine on August second for a week with my parents and most likely no internet at all. >.< Sounds fun, huh? If anyone is free and would like to save me from complete and utter boredom, you're more than welcome to come with.

On a more interesting note, a happy almost-birthday to :Asuka-in-a-Lunchbox:!

Pelicans should wear wigs, Olé!

Thu Jul 3, 2008, 3:58 PM
There's a pelican,

On a telephone pole,

In the middle of the bay...

XD

As you can see, only a few hours back home does not wash the ridiculous camp songs that tend to accumulate after a five day session out of your brain. But that's okay, because a few days out on the lake in Harvard is most definitely worth it. Even if I am covered in bites.

I'm going to have to post again with all of the details, but for now I'm going to relax and enjoy finally being home, and in clean clothes! XD

I'll leave with the simple statement that while pelicans don't sunburn, apparently most of them should be wearing wigs. Adieu!

Restless...

Seriously. I need desperately to do something, preferably something that involves getting out of here. I feel like I'm jumping out of my own skin, a feeling which I can only tolerate for so long. I'm fifteen years old and I've still never done anything remotely important or interesting; my parents didn't even want me to watch Swingtown with them. I hate being trapped in here constantly, without any way of really getting out or being able to do much.

I dunno where all this is coming from. Family photographs, books and movies, probably. As cliche as it sounds (and admittedly, it sounds almost unbearably cliche), I need to find something....more.

Sorry for boring you with the details of my life and my musings that you most likely don't care about, but I needed to get that out. Honestly, you can just skip this one.

Here's to being trapped in a small town in the middle of nowhere with an overprotective father,

Kate.
